Bacoor, Cavite – May 7, 2025 – PH1 World Developers (PH1WD), in partnership with the Bacoor City Government, officially broke ground on a 5-tower, mid-rise residential condominium development located in Barangay Salinas I. The project, spanning 1.9 hectares, will be developed under the national government’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program—a bold initiative to address the Philippines’ 6.5-million housing backlog by delivering 6 million homes by 2028.
The residential complex is designed to benefit Bacoor’s city employees and local constituents, providing over 2,000 two-bedroom units. With a total gross floor area of 70,000 square meters, the project aims to offer accessible, quality housing to public servants such as teachers, police officers, and other government workers.
Present at the ceremonial groundbreaking were officials from PH1WD and its parent company Megawide Construction Corporation (Megawide), as well as Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Undersecretary Avelino Tolentino III, Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla, and Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola.

PH1WD Chairman Edgar Saavedra emphasized the importance of providing quality housing to public sector workers and assured that the development will exceed the standards of typical 4PH projects and even that of private housing projects. This sentiment was echoed by PH1WD President Gigi Alcantara, who proudly noted that they will be able to do so with Megawide as the partner builder.
Mayor Revilla expressed gratitude for the collaboration, stating that he had long been dreaming of giving his constituents decent, affordable homes, but knew it would not be possible without strong partners like DHSUD, Pag-IBIG Fund, PH1WD, and Megawide.
This joint initiative highlights the power of collaboration in addressing the country’s housing challenges and marks a major step forward in Bacoor’s urban development goals
